Magic
has been my dream come true. After her dam Reese finished, she was
bred to the stunning GCh. Ho-Pa's Grand Slam, and Magic was exactly what
we'd been hoping for. When she was born, I called her owners and co-breeders
Ann & Steve Anderson, and told them "Here's your next Futurity winner!".
They didn't believe me at first, but when the finally saw her in person
at 10 weeks of age, they quickly realized that she was, indeed, something
very extraordinary!

Magic
did not disappoint us, winning her first major from the 6-9 class by taking
BOS over several specials.
In just a few shows, she earned multiple majors and reserves, and went
to the 2013 ABC National with 10 points. There she not only won
the Futurity, but went on to take Winners Bitch for her final points,
living up to the promise I saw in her at birth.

Always
beautifully presented by Rick and Mandy Justice, Magic was shown as a special
lightly that year, but hit the rings in earnest in 2014, ending that year
as the #5 Boxer. 2015 & 2016 saw her continue her winning ways,
still maintaining her position near the top of the breed, with All-Breed
Best In Show, multiple Specialty, Group, and Reserve BIS wins.
Magic was retired from the show ring and bred, but was unsuccessful in producing
puppies. Instead of being returned to me as promised to live out her life
as a beloved house pet, she spent her remaining days in alone in a kennel;
a responsible breeder's worst nightmare. I hope she forgives me for
letting her down.
