Ch. Country Time's Sweet Home Alabama

The first time I saw Reese's puppy picture, she caught my eye.  I admired her pedigree, and felt she could bring some important qualities to my breeding program.  After a long talk with her breeder, Rhonda McNutt, Reese was mine.  I picked her up at ABC 2008 when she was 8 weeks old, and she stole my heart.  One year later, she returned to ABC and took 2nd in her Futurity class, then proceeded to win a huge(36 entries) regular class!  The next year she won her class again, this time owner-handled.

Her first weekend out with Rick Justice, Reese won a 5 point major, and caught the eye of Ann and Steve Anderson, Rummer Run Boxers, who became co-owners. She finished quickly with 2 more majors, then
was bred to BIS, BISS GCh. Ho-Pa's Grand Slam.  This breeding produced GCh. Rummer Run's Black Magic, who won Best Puppy and Grand Prize Futurity Winner at the 2013 ABC, then went on to take WB
at that National to finish her Championship.  Magic's plain fawn sister, Lyric, lives with us as a house pet.

Reese was the sunshine in my life.  A day before her 10th birthday, she had a gran mal seizure caused by a brain tumor.  For the next 6 months we were able to manage the seizures with medication, but the day came when we had to let her go. She will forever be the best dog I've ever had, and not a day goes by that I don't miss her.
